Football star to miss stag night

MIND you, Palmer might have had to miss the final for a very different reason if a planned stag do had gone ahead for Town skipper Chris Timons.
Timons (30) is getting married in June and had planned a trip to Magaluf with his mates in celebration. All the Town squad were invited but the planned date of their return is Sunday May 22 – the same day as the FA Trophy final!
Now Timons and the players have agreed to cancel it, even though it has already been paid for, if The Yellows get through tomorrow.
"It was no contest," said assistant player/manager Roy Hunter. "We might have to pay out again but it will be worth it."
Perhaps they will be taking the Trophy with them!
